Miss 'Em
I was watching Whedon's Much Ado and seeing Reed in that gave me painful Dollhouse nostalgia. Which, in turn, left me missing this pair.

How go the other shippers?

I recently did a series rewatch with some buddies, and managed to be SO TOTALLY CHILL AND POKER FACED RE: MY OBSESSION WITH D/D (which I felt my viewing buddies would not precisely understand). I revealed nothing! I was flawless! I sat like a perfectly reasonable person through the likes of "Man on the Street" and "Spy in the House of Love" and "Epitaph 1" without, like, squeaking, "Don't you think they should get married??" at any point.

... until the scene in the kitchen in the very last episode. My mom (who had to witness my original Dollhouse obsession) happened to be over, and she made the very vague remark, "Wait -- didn't she have a boyfriend? Where's her boyfriend?"

And I just yelped, "YOU MEAN DOMINIC?????"

... and it turned out she was talking about Sierra and wondering where Victor was.

Oops.

I would have 0% self control in a re-watch and just bug the people about how awesome they would be as a couple...

Heh. How did your friends take the outburst? Did you give in and show them the glory of all the beautiful fic?

That is super impressive! I would never be able to be that cool when watching my beloved shows with friends!

There was a conversation about Sierra/Victor about the episode where he's an FBI and she's a CDC doctor and while I love Victor/Sierra, don't get me wrong, all I could think about is how hilarious Dominic was in that episode.

That episode is the best for some silliness! Plus, Adelle on a trampoline, how can you go wrong?

Still haven't seen Much Ado (I'd forgotten it existed actually.) Must check it out. I was just thinking about re-watching the 'Alpha's not really the Dollhouse designer! Watch out for the waccy baccy!' ep, that's got some D/D action, right?

I have permanent Dollhouse nostalgia, them were the days...

Gosh, I honestly don't remember.. /has to brush up on Dollhouse episodes

Much Ado is currently streaming on Netflix, if you have it. I really do recommend it, it's such a fun story.

Well, technically not D/D action? Dominic was in Victor's body and she was ~coaxing~ out info from him. (This is the ep where Alan Tudyk appears, right?)

Ooh, 'coaxing', that's pretty intimate. Well, the way they do it.

Glorious, glorious Alan Tudyk... Some D/A/D would not be unwelcome.

D/A/D is certainly welcome!

/can only think of one fic where it happens

Are there more out there somewhere, I wonder?

Really ought to be. Preferably not ending in a bloodbath, but that's so hard to guarantee with Alpha...

I have copies of Much Ado (both legal and bootlegged) but I haven't had the chance to watch it since... 2013. Lol.

I miss Dollhouse terribly and I have a DeWitt/Dominic-shaped hole in my heart (actually, my heart is just strips of muscles with fandom-shaped holes)

I totally get you on that one.

OH MY GOSHHH.

I just made a post on my tumblr about how much I'm missing this fandom, and then [livejournal.com profile] derevko_child informed me there was a new-ish post here in the comm and I'm just :')))

I MISS YOU GUYS.

I have yet to find another fandom that is just as accepting and non-wanky as D/D was. Just know that I love you all, and I still think about you basically ALL THE TIME.

The mental link that connects all D/D shippers must have been activated. Nostalgic posts, sudden rewatches...

I feel like our wee size has attributed to the easy goingness. We're all just so happy that someone else is into the pairing that everything is sunshine and rainbows.

Plus, we're awsome. So yeah.

I read this as "the pairing is sunshine and rainbows" and I was all, "Yes. Indeed."

*starts crying because it's not*
