Somehow, I think both of them would totally thrive in that universe. The serious-all-business vibe they have totally jives with the crazy-all-business-but-not-really BoT vibe.

Have you read derevko_child's Alias/Dollhouse crossover? Dewitt and Dominic jump off a clif -- it's pretty badass.

Sadly, I attempted to write my own crossover of Alias and Dollhouse and never really finished it. *fail*

And I HATE THAT. You get an awesome idea, and even put hours of work into it, then lose it. I've done that before. I had six chapter (I'm talking 15,000+ words, of a multi-chapter Smallville fic that I then lost the muse for. I was piffed. ALL THAT WORK.

Dollhouse/Lie To Me: Cal and Foster end up at some pseudo-government-Rossum-related party. Lightman and Foster are there because they deal with the government a lot and Dewitt and Dominic are there as some kind of Rossum representatives. Small talk ensues in all four perspectives: Dewitt dislikes Cal's lack of discretion and has a sort of foreboding instinct that he knows too much; Dominic worries that Cal and Foster (after he learns what they do) will be able to tell he's a spy for the NSA; Cal finds Dewitt intriguing because he loves a challenge and she's so reserved that her expressions are harder to read then most; and Foster has already realized that Cal is obsessed with Dewitt, that Dominic doesn't really work for the Dollhouse and is probably a spy and that both Dewitt and Dominic are clearly in some kind of relationship (because, come on, that's what their body languages does say) so she decides to tactfully end the conversation before Cal does something unfortunate and gets his mind wiped by Adelle just out of pure spite.
