On Exhibit A: I don't even know why I'm surprised by your awesome any more.
The short bit with Langton, THAT WILL ALWAYS AMUSE ME. Forever and ever. Also, being so hot and Dom owning Adelle's chair, I love it.

On Exhibit B: I feel kind of weird 'cause I'm doing a Florence vid for people who aren't D/D. But it's "You've Got The Love" which is just too happy for them. But oh my god, you're sense of editing is so amazing. The way you capture similar motions and gestures in totally opposite scenes is gorgeous.

I am always constantly amazed at how people in this fandom do crack, and then make it GOOD. *BOWS DOWN*

But, really, the second vid? OH, HOW I LOVE THE ANGST. It is my bread and butter. And, damn, I was introduced to Florence and the Machines through music vids, and every. single. song of theirs is so perfect and angsty and especially fitting for D/D. Great editing, great use of the song to show emotion.

Love them. Especially impressed by the way you switched between Dominic and then Langton in the Florence + the Machine vid. Brilliant to find scenes where they are standing in the same place in relation to DeWitt but conveying how different the mood and indeed everything else is.

And the Florence one is so good, I love the super-fast cutting. And the bit that keeps going from when Dom's there and Adelle's looking bright and happy and when Boyd's there and she's all depressed :(

OMG, I just love the way you just edit these videos. The first one's so awesome, I wanna marry it. Laurence Dominic is a Male Prima Donna who's rhyme bites like piranha. YESSSS.

The second one broke my heart. Angsty D/D. Why do you always break my heart?

And the drinking in the dark scene with Boyd coming in the room. I love it. Because that's when I realized fully what subtext means. I love that scene so much. And it's right there. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Ok, so that's not it. I'm really glad you put them in the order you did. The image of Adelle DeWitt downing a bottle of baby aspirin and Dominic descending the stairs with the rifle got me through the second one without tipping the angst meter into the red.

1) Male Prima Donna FTW! I loved it in all it's cracky glory! (the short bit with Langdon was perfect! as was the 'she got stiches, it really hurt!')

2) Oh the angst. That was heartbreaking, poor Adelle. I loved the quick cutting from happy Adelle with Dominic to sad Adelle with Langdon. Gorgeous!

WOW. I love love both, especially the Florence and the Machine one. The editing is brilliant. The beginning itself took my breath away. The whole back and forth in the vid, the subtle things, parallels, looks and palpable amazingness of this vid is just love. Thank you. :D
