Epitaph Two, thinking about it, is kinda Non-Jossian in a way that Priya, Tony and T got a happy ending. Even Echo sorta got a happy ending. So maybe we get a happy ending for Dom?

But then, even if I think that there is no way that I'm going to read it without knowing beforehand the fate of Dominic. I am not going to weep over this when we have the happy ending on a boat (thanks, IR!)

I keep thinking that I have to forgive Joss for Reed not being in the final two episodes. Both press releases said Reed was in them, but in thinking about the timing--it may well have been that a very cute little girl had just come into the world and daddy didn't really want to go to work right then. So maybe they had the idea and just thought WTF let's put it in a comic.

I preordered my DVD from Amazon.com so I guess a bunch of people will have it before me, so I'm likely to know already (unless I put blinders on--which I might). I don't like reading things when I know what happens, but I might have to make an exception.

I fear Joss has used up his quota of happy endings, but I'd be pleased to be wrong. And, as you say, there are happy endings in fandom already (and a lot of tragic ones), so ... I think we could take the position that if it didn't happen on screen, it didn't happen.
