Community rewatch: poll, part 2 + brainstorming for activities

The rewatch is a go and majority said that we hold the start of the rewatch on December on a Saturday, with two episodes per rewatch. Which is now the subject of this second poll.

I am going to need suggestions for activities within the rewatch week (or for the full-blown Dewitt/Dominic week. Please leave them in the comments/PM me if, or you're a lurker with no lj account (and feeling shy) leave them in this tumblr

Feel free to have a go in the comments with a GIF and spam party, other suggestions, or tell people to vote for a certain time because of timezone differences, etc etc.

In case it was lost in the entry: a(nother) fyeah dewitt/dominic! that was created a few months ago that was never used, but i am now going to utilize for the dewitt/dominic peeps who are on tumblr but do not have an lj account and wishes to join in our festive rewatch (http://threeyearsbymyside.tumblr.com/)

I hope the 3 PM or 5 PM Eastern wins because Saturday for you guys is Sunday for us here (GMT +8/GMT +10) and we normally do family things during Sundays which somehow lasts the entire day.

I like the mini activities within the rewatch week because it means more DeWItt/Dominic weeks than just 2 full-blown DeWitt/Dominic weeks? Then we go on break for two weeks then start the second season on February?

If we're going to start on December 1st, I am volunteering to host for the rewatch day of Echoes/Needs (I have exams on the second week of December :D)

Suggestion for activities:

1. For the rewatch hosts, we pose several questions which everybody can answer during/after we watch the episode. The questions can be anything about the ep or your head cannons or meta

2. Ficathons! Prompts for fic memes (or whatever you call it), Seven-word fics! Icon battles!

I feel a bit dim here, but this is my first comm rewatch so I have to ask: what would 'hosting' involve?

I'm all eager to help out, just not quite clear on how...

Nothing much. As the rewatch host, you make the rewatch post here in the comm (stating the episode), start the discussion and try to keep the discussion going.

OH MY GOD YES! I WAS JUST THINKING HOW I MISS THIS FANDOM! I might not be here most of the actual viewing cause I doubt the times will jive but by god I will catch up with you lot and make fannish things and bask in the glory of this ship and community.
