Epitaph One Clip
Because a flister just linked this to me, and I'd thought I'd share with the comm. Randomly. This is my favorite D/D scene of the entire series. Spoilers for Epitaph One. Oh, and incidentally, it's also Olivia William's favorite scene from all of S1. She is clearly a D/D fan, yes?

Q: In "Epitaph One", you have the scene with Topher where he's seemingly totally lost it, and you have the scene where you've brought Laurence Dominic back from the attic. Did you ask Joss, "What the hell is going on?"

Williams: Oh yeah. I still don't understand! I need the fans to come and explain to me what's going on. Actually, my favorite scene to date was that scene with Reed [Diamond] when he shot the whiskey out of my hand and I said, "At least you didn't shoot the vodka." It's writing like that that makes you want to be an actor. It's just such a joy.

The 1x13 couch scene is one of my fave D/D scene after the 1x09 confrontation scene and before the 1x07 awkward office encounter scene. Hee.

When I read that interview of hers and saw that bit, I went all, "ASKJDHFDSFA;DFAKD;ADJKAFHSFD.DJKA;/DJFSDN;FADJFADLKFADFAD!!!"

Ooh, and I love that scene in Gray Hour, with Sierra!Taffy:

Oh, and let's not forget this:

And the one in 1x02 with Dewitt asking Dominic about liking Rayna's music and he was all like this:

...

Let's just say, I love all their scenes together. HEE.

HAHAHHA. That last cap. Look at his face! I am seriously falling for Reed at an unprecedented rate. He needs to get his own show, yo.

I think he should try comedy. He's either being cast as a policeman or a killer. I think he should try being a scruffy archeologist (BONES!)

Oh, totally.

Also, his performance in 2.10 proves he can play the ultimate good guy. Why does he always get cast as a killer?!

Because he looks angelic when he's smiling but when he scowls he turns scary? Like when he played a serial killer in Crossing Jordan (he totally scared me in that ep...)

That is definitely one of my favorite scenes. I also like the scene in, I can't remember the episode, but Dominic is beating up Sierra's handler while DeWitt threatens and talks to him. It is really interesting and Dominic's protective streak really comes out, it's interesting in context of what we knew then and even more interesting given how he ended up being the one in that same chair. And of course the elevator scene, which is in the same episode, they both give these stares to each other that just make my knees jelly. And Needs gives a lot on the D/D front too.

...sorry I've been working on a vid I know their scenes rather well now.

Oh. Now I suddenly feel like I need to rewatch this episode again, because there are all new layers I can come up with.

And yeah, Man on the Street and Needs had a lot of quiet, UST-filled staring. I especially liked the part in Needs where Dominic looks at DeWitt just a second longer than another person would. It makes my shippy heart skip a beat. Hee. <3

I love that scene to bits. And I think derevko_child covered most of it...

Oh yeah--their scenes together in 'Man on the Street' got me into this ship. Also their interaction at the end of 'True Believer' when DeWitt was all pissed and "don't gamble with what I'm willing to do". Which is really true with what happens in 'Spy in the House of Love'.

Awesome scene! Anyway, I remember this one scene, at the beginning of 1x09 Spy in the... where Dom leads Echo out of Topher's lab and spots a smiling DeWitt... he just smiles back and then they have the "Everything that happens in this House is my responsibility" talk... It's, like, their last 'normal' scene together, because then she leaves for the meeting at Rossum/Miss Lonelyhearts holiday and they meet again only when he's exposed as a spy...
Hee, so yeah, this scene, too, which means I love, like, EVERY SINGLE ONE of their scenes together? :)

That's my fav scene, just the way it flows and all the D/D angst, it's just so perfectly written. That "Just the Vodka, thank god." is my fav line :D
That scene drew me into the ship and the show. I wasn't all that interested in the show but heard the online hype about Epitaph One so I went and watched that ep (it was my first ep of DH that I watched), I saw that scene and was immediately drawn in. I was like omg they have history, they're such an angsty couple and there's seriously some hot/angsty/emotional/shilly background there between them, so I went and watched DH just to see their interaction. I kept watching just to see D/D lol, it's only recently the show itself has gotten me hooked.
Another great moment between them is that scene from MotS where he wacks Hearn getting all protective of her lol
Oh an I still haven't gotten over the fact that while in the Attic he called her 'Adelle', it wasn't all hateful/spiteful 'DeWitt!', it was just 'ha Adelle finally sent you to the Attic' (she was very rarely 'Adelle' lol, it peaked my interest)

I just posted this at my journal last night. I'm going through screencaps in order to icon and I keep getting distracted. LOOK AT THIS ONE:

The way he's gazing at her. *DIES DIES DIES* I don't know, I still can't do anything but grin like an idiot when I look at this.

Omg, omg, awesome screencap! It's so like "She thinks she's so clever and I know she doesn't know that I know that she knows nothing, and I can't bring myself to hate her for it, 'coz there's just too much URT and Hawt between us and NOW we're having eyesex..."

Looking forward to your icons, btw! :D

Oh hey, that's my youtube account! I posted that scene because it's one of my favs of the whole series, even with the awesome season two stuff that's happened lately. And I love Olivia's quote about it, too.

I remember watching Epitaph One shortly after ComicCon, being on the edge of my seat during the first half and then FREAKING OUT during this one! Haha, love them so much... Fingers crossed they get a few more scenes together before the series is over!
