That was all I needed, guys. Flashback powerwalking/eyesex, and then that scene. That was enough to refuel everything I love about them. Which is probably really unhealthy, but whatever, man.

She held onto his hand unnecessarily long in that scene. It. was. AWESOME.

I LOVED THAT EXCHANGE SO MUCH. And so not the healthiest pairing at all, but I do love watching them being terrible to each other as a way of repressing their feelings.

Also, I'd kind of figured that a lot of Epitaph One was going to be either AU/Attic Scenario after the last episode and the promo, but this episode has me thinking a lot of it could happen for real - the whole couch/shooting at her scene makes a lot sense, especially if she put him in the attic twice.

This was my reaction as I watched.

Dude, I was watching the opening credits for Reed Diamond's name, and literally squeed aloud when I saw it. AND THEN HE CAME! In a flashback, but still! They were POWERWALKING, people. I don't think most people appreciate why I loved that so much, because that was originally what drew me to this ship. The powerwalking and eyesex and sexy professionalism with genuine concern laced underneath. Though I love the post 1.09 dynamic, it was this that I first fell in love with.

AND THEN HE'S BACK! For reals! OMG, OMG, OMG.

My face lit up with the biggest grin ever when he showed up and called her ma'am. And then they started powerwalking and I was reduced to fangirl squeals.

CAN'T WE HAVE A WHOLE SHOW WITH JUST THEM DURING THEIR THREE YEARS TOGETHER?

They were both ridiculously hot during the flashbacks. Especially Olivia Williams, because it's not like hot isn't her normal thing, but with the dark lipstick and the hair and that vicious edge to her voice I think my heart nearly exploded! AND THE WALKING TOGETHER, OMG.

YOU CAPPED IT!? God, that scene was the BEST. They are so Smirky and Menacing! They had THREE YEARS together, god, kicking ass and taking names (and identities, and bodies). Sometimes I forget that, and then you remind me and it's the best thing ever all over again!

Shallow, but man, they had GREAT clothes in their flashbacks.

I that Boyd was the big bad. I've never actually liked him much until that moment. I'm now a fan.

I'm also kind of happy that Dom's in the attic. I think he'll be safer there than if he was with the others (selfish I know but i don't care. I want him there at the end).

A little off topic for this forum but does anyone have any feelings on Caroline/Bennett? I find that relationship also triggers my ship tendencies.

Caroline & Bennett seemed like the biggest BFLs!!! And Caroline actually left her to save her (not as a cold hearted bitch like I thought she did last time they had that flashback)

Okay, I FINALLY saw the episode.

HOLY CRAP IN A BOTTLE. (I managed not to spoil myself too much, yayy me)

I got so JOSSED. But in a good way. I mean, seriously? Omg. Omg. OMG. I can't even describe it properly. I know I should say that the powerwalking flashback (great scene where they sent her to her doom in the elevator and smiled about it :D) and then Dom back from the Attic was enough, but NOOOOO, it WASN'T!! It just reignited every single flame that has ever burnt for them in my poor shipper heart, my reaction when she sent him back to the Attic was basically something "Oh, he called her a HBIC, omg. She's so ruthless, omg. And she's doing it for HIM, aaaaahh!!"
I know. I know. And then Saunders turned out to be bad and I was like ooookau... wait, does that mean that she could've been the one who used to alter the imprints? Does that mean Dom could be innocent, being an NSA spy aside?
Anyway, I'm still so not over this episode. A second before Boyd walked out of the shadows in the last scene, I was like "Oh no, that sounds like Boyd!"

I so hope Dom will be back in a good way in the next ep, 'cause seriously, I was shivering with worries for him the whole time, I mean, he had to kill himself in the attic, then come back, and he looked so bad and then he had the shock and asfj;kfjhlskdfhdsflkhLKJHLKHLKH PLEASE BE NEXT FRIDAY!!!!

LOL. I think I went through the same reactions as you, but you managed to write how it felt. I got Jossed...but I kind of liked it. (It's sick, right? We're all going to need therapy by the time this show it over)

The little smile on Dominic's face before the Elevator of Doom? My favorite part of the episode. It really is a great scene. They are BOTH such BAMFs.

Random but undoubtedly profound: I think with the arm-grabbing-slash-handholding, we got our second-ever instance of physical contact (of the non shoulders-brushing-while-powerwalking variety) between them! The first being the (sexy! Let's not fight about this) strangling in Epitaph One. HOW ARE THEY SO REPRESSED & EXCELLENT.

Also: what with the Boyd reveal, I just cannot stop thinking, oh, our poor girl, she has had serious bad luck with appointing trustworthy Heads of Security this year! This is dreaming way big, but I would love, love if she and Dominic had a conversation that addressed that. Like, come on, in retrospect, Dom wasn't that bad, now, was he.

SO MUCH THIS TIMES INFINITY. Shit luck, man.

NO. Dominic absolutely CANNOT DIE. Quoting Adelle "I think my world might actually collapse under that one.". Anyway, no. Just no. This isn't going to happen and they will repopulate Earth with their über BAMF kids.
But it's a Whedon show, that's why I'll be jumping with anxiety up until the very last "Grr, Arrgh". I mean, nothing is for sure until that. MAYBE not even after that. My God, Joss YOU ARE KILLING ME.
