The nature of DeWitt/Dominic was asked at Echo-2  
[livejournal.com profile] penikitty wrote a write-up about Echo-2, and someone asked OW and RD about Dewitt and Dominic. Which led to the revelation that Olivia Williams watches DeWitt/Dominic fanvids on youtube.

Okay, so during Fran and Olivia's talk someone asked Olivia what she thought the relationship was between Adelle and Dominic. Olivia got really excited and said "Are you the person that's made those amazing videos?" and the person said that no, she wasn't. Olivia then got extremely animated and excited and explained to us, and Fran, that there was a series of amazing videos on youtube set to music about Adelle/Dominic and that she watched them A LOT and they always make her happy.


I thought it was [livejournal.com profile] dollsome at first, but it turns out to be the great Ohsoleil. WORSHIP AT HER FEET. (I cannot link to her other vids because Youtube is blocking them. *shakes fist at youtube*)

The answer to the question is--

Yes she did answer and so did Reed. They both said they didn't see it as a romantic relationship. Reed said that he thought Dominic saw her as his queen and that he would do anything to protect her and their kingdom.




Thoughts? Personally, I love it that Reed said that he thinks Dominic sees Adelle as his queen. ♥♥♥



ETA: A question for you to ponder on: did you see DeWitt/Dominic as a romantic relationship? Yes? No? How did you see it and why?

I love the picture I get of Olivia Williams sitting at her computer, flailing over DeWitt/Dominic videos on YouTube because, you know, it's what I do. Olivia and I are so alike! Ha ha. I can only imagine her reaction if she ever found this (glorious) community.

And the thought of Dom thinking of Adelle as his queen, doing anything & everything to protect their kingdom. YES. THIS. FOREVER. ♥ (Also, I would like to point out, in his answer he said THEIR kingdom. You really don't think of them as romantic, Reed? Hmm? They totally could have gotten there, after the apocalypse happened. Which brings us back to D/D being the world's overlords, just sayin'.)

Also, I would like to point out, in his answer he said THEIR kingdom. You really don't think of them as romantic, Reed?

I KNOOOOOW. I was all, 'not romantic, but their kingdom? What is this. I don't even know anymore... I love you, Reed?' lol.

I re-watched a few vids when I saw this post at the team comm. It made me so ~nostalgic. DOLLSOME'S VIDS FOR THE WIN!

I AM BACK! FINALLY! BUT IT TAKES ME AROUND 5 TIMES TO GET REPLIES TO ACTUALLY POST. ONE DAY! ONE DAY THINGS WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL, LJ-WISE! (RIGHT??)

I rewatched a few vids as well. OH NOSTALGIA. And there are so many! (Go Dollsome & your vidding prowess!) ♥ I remember when I first found those ohsoleil vids on YT and I was all, "D/D have made it! They are a Real Thing now!" because apparently YT was the be all and end all of coupling proof? lol

Lol, I'm actually having that problem too. I couldn't fangirl properly (about this topic) because LJ kept on giving me "INTERNAL SERVER ERROR" or "503 ERROR" and that last one where there's like 2 sentences in the middle and made me go all :OOOOOOOOOOOOO

I remember being so thrilled when I saw ohsoleil's vids. They were awesome and well-made and squee-inducing and I was all, "THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE VIDS, PEOPLE" and then I started worshiping at her feet. trololol.

Hee, that is EXACTLY what happened to me! I remember having such a giddy sense of "dude, they are LEGIT now!"

I KNOW! That would be amazing... How crazy would it be if she commented here? I feel like we should maybe put a couple links to here on a few of the aforementioned youtube videos' descriptions... :)
